Briefly: what we do, what we don't, and where the prices come from.
No. We show the prices different sellers charge for the same room and send you to them. Your booking contract is with the seller — an online agency or the hotel itself. We never take payment, issue confirmations or refund money.
Prices change all the time; we show what the seller answered at the moment of checking — the list always says how many minutes ago that was. If the gap is large, click "report a wrong price" on the card: that is how we learn about mismatches.
Some sellers pay us a share for a guest who came from us and actually stayed. It does not affect the order of the list: sorting is by the guest's final price only. Details are on the "How we make money" page.
The seller's price plus whatever is charged at the hotel (fees, surcharges), minus cashback if any. We sort by this amount because it is what you pay, not the number in the ad.
Exactly that: every seller quoted the same price to the rouble. It happens in roughly a third of cases. There is nothing to overpay — book wherever is convenient.
From our own price observations: the median over the last month, at least three observations, a 10% threshold. No data — no badge. We do not invent "discounts".
The hotels and sellers are Russian and charge roubles. You can display prices in another currency with the switch in the header; conversion uses the Bank of Russia rate for the day.
The hotel pays the agency a commission: at Yandex Travel the base rate has been 17% including VAT since February 2026, and premium programmes push it to a quarter of the price. A booking engine on the hotel's own site costs it about 4%, so part of that difference goes back to the guest. We label the hotel's own price "official site".
Documents come from whoever you pay — the agency or the hotel; we have none to give. Check with the seller before paying: not all of them work with companies and not all issue accounting documents for bank transfers.
Payment happens on the seller's side and each has its own rules. Right now the list only contains sellers that accept cards issued by Russian banks. How to show the others is a question we are settling before the public launch: we do not want to quietly show a price you cannot pay.
Photos and reviews belong to the hotels and the sellers, and may only be shown with their permission. Until we have it we show what we check ourselves: prices, conditions, distance to the centre and price history. Photos and reviews open at the seller behind the "go" link.
Nothing except the address you leave yourself for a "watch the price" subscription. Visit statistics are counted only after your consent and are anonymous. Details are in the personal data policy.
