Old Vyborg fills a small peninsula of narrow streets, the Clock Tower and Market Square with its Round Tower, while Vyborg Castle stands on an island opposite. Staying in the old town keeps everything within walking distance, though cobbles are uneven for heavy luggage. The station sits at the edge of the old town. Monrepos Park, on the rocky shore in the north, is greener and quieter but about half an hour's walk from the centre.
