The order is fixed and alphabetical; it does not depend on how much sellers pay us.
Veliky Ustyug is really two places. The old town on the Sukhona has merchant houses, many churches, the embankment and Ded Moroz's post office; it suits travellers who want to walk and visit museums. Ded Moroz's estate lies outside town in a pine forest, with hotels and lodges nearby — a good choice for families focused on the festive programme. Others commute by minibus or taxi.
Late November to January is peak time, from Ded Moroz's birthday on 18 November through the New Year holidays; book well ahead. Summer is calm.
There is no railway in town: take a train to Kotlas, then a bus or taxi. A small airport has flights from Vologda and nearby cities.

We only show what we can verify. We have no prices of our own right now, so we do not make them up — we send you to the seller's results. Links are affiliate: if you book, the seller pays us a commission; your price does not change.
