Where to stay

Belokurikha is an Altai Krai spa town at the foot of the mountains, known for radon springs. Most sanatoriums sit in the resort zone along the Belokurikha river, with treatment buildings, a park, walking trails and a chairlift up Mount Tserkovka. Belokurikha-2, a newer area about ten kilometres away and higher up, has ski slopes and modern complexes. Guesthouses in town suit those who need only a bed.

When to go

Sanatoriums work all year, and the mountains shelter the town from wind. Skiing usually runs December to March. New Year and July to August are busiest.

Getting there

The nearest railway station is Biysk, an hour to an hour and a half away by bus or taxi. By air, fly to Barnaul or Gorno-Altaysk and continue by road: about two hours from Gorno-Altaysk, about four from Barnaul.

Why no prices

We only show what we can verify. We have no prices of our own right now, so we do not make them up — we send you to the seller's results. Links are affiliate: if you book, the seller pays us a commission; your price does not change.
